Varano Produzioni is an entertainment production company dba Varano LLC.  It's current project is Scapin, opening May 29 - June 8, 2014 in New York City. 

Varano Produzioni's production of SCAPIN is truly one of its kind. A musical adaptation of Molière's classic by Shelley Berc and Andrei Belgrader, this particular production is brought to life by master comedic improvisers as they ingeniously incorporate into their storytelling traditional Italian masks, lazzi, slapstick, and the sublime songs of the late, great Rusty Magee. Commedia dell'Arte is, by definition, for and with the audience. And though many may come to this show with no knowledge of this lost, Italian art form, they leave with split sides, busted guts, and thoroughly tickled ribs for having experienced it first-hand.
